Hidden Gems was comissioned by Rundle Place a to refresh the stairwells in the Rundle Place carpark. I was part of a small team of artists who transformed the two stairwells. We were given free reign to create works in our own style. I absolutely delight in transforming odd spaces, so the long flights of stairs leading from the Grenfell Street entrance were very exciting to paint!.
This pretty nonsense was inspired by antique jewellery, specifically from the Victorian period.
